Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na aplikaci koncepce udržitelného rozvoje ve firmě Volkswagen Slovakia na posílení její konkurenceschopnosti. Automobilová společnost je analyzována jako hráč v odvětví udržitelné mobility a její současná strategie je zhodnocena v zmyslu udržitelnosti. Na základě nejrelevantnějších aspektů analytické části je navržena řada doporučení, které by měli podpořit působení firmy v oblasti výroby elektrických vozidel a poskytování transportních služeb a které by měli přispět k dosažení eko-konkurenční výhody v daném odvětví.

| DT Strategic Communication of Sustainable Urban Mobility Topics | Běnek The aim of the thesis is to describe and define the type and themes of communication and good practice of procedures and approaches that are effective in gaining support forsustainable (especially urban) mobility in the context of institutional strategic communication in the Czech/European context. This creates a suitable theoretical framework for strategy development at the municipal level and gives officials, practitioners, and politicians a tool that will enable them to use strategic communication effectively to improve living conditions in cities. The theoretical part discusses the function of the public urban space, especially its transport function, introduces the different modes of transport (car, pedestrian, cycling, public transport, and their combinations) and offers a description of their effects on the city and its citizens, also points out the evolution of the transport regime and discusses approaches and policies that support sustainable modes of transport. It also discusses thefield of strategic communication as a tool for promoting sustainable transport, particularly from an institutional perspective, and describes the communication of change, the stakeholders involved, and the topics to be communicated. Media Image of Transport in Prague

This diploma thesis contributes to sustainable transport in Prague. It analyses media texts from six selected Czech printed newspapers (Blesk, Mladá fronta Dnes, Pražský deník, Metro, Hospodářské noviny, Právo) by using the theoretical and methodological strategy of critical discourse analysis by Norman Fairclough. These texts were found through media database Anopress IT by using keywords about sustainable transport in the capital city of Prague in years 2010 till 2018. This thesis is divided into four main parts. The theoretical part is dedicated to the terms of mobility management, the social construction of reality and discourse. The methodological part is focusing on discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis and the approach by Norman Fairclough. The analysis identified five topics in the discourse of sustainable transport in Prague - electromobility, public transport, foot traffic, urban cycling, and Sustainable Mobility Plan. Sustainable mobility in Prague is presented in a context of the polluted environment which should be solved by "ecologically, environment- friendly, clean". Environmental Education and pupils' transport behaviour of selected Elementary School in Czechia

This thesis deals with the environmental education and the modal choice of transport, especially pupils traveling to school. The main object of the thesis is to determine, whether has the environmental education positive impact to a transport behavior of pupils and to their exploitation environmentally friendly means of transport. First part of the thesis is based on czech and foreign literature, it represents importance of the environment for people and other animals and plant species and deals with impact of transport on environment. This part also analyzes the environmental education and its possibilities, position and legislative and curricular anchoring in these times, everything with emphasis on influence of transport on the environment. Empirical part of the thesis is connected with first theoretical part of the thesis. Through a survey at czech elementary schools this part analyzes view of schools on transport and environmental issues and main factors, which influence modal choice. Two Prague elementary schools situated in similar type of a housing development with different approach to teaching the environmental education are studied in detail.
